Following the successful completion of the £2,000,000 Breast Screening Unit at the Chancellor Wing, St James Hospital, Leeds, Bermar has been awarded a contract to convert offices to a Renal Dialysis Unit (£400,000). Work will commence in early March.

The Hydrotherapy Pool at Highbury School, Rastrick is now complete. Works commenced in September and were completed on time in December. Works consisted of an upgrade and refurbishment of the existing facilities including mechanical and electrical installations and the total project value was £240,000.
Work has commenced at Ashlands Primary School, Ilkley to provide four extensions including further teaching space, staff areas, car parking and playground. The works costing £1.1million are due for completion in late 2013.

Bermar has been appointed Main Contractor to convert the Wakefield Museum to a Centre for the Performing Arts as part of our Yorbuild Framework. The Contract is of historic significance, involving a sensitive approach to one of Wakefield’s most historic buildings. Completion is expected in Spring 2013.
Bermar is currently constructing a new Vehicle Storage Depot at Whitby for Scarborough Borough Council. Whitby is a long way on a winter’s day and we are hoping for a mild Winter!
