This project involved the alterations and refurbishment of existing internal and external teaching spaces to form a new alternate education provision.

With a limited budget, the existing M&E systems had to be adapted and reused where possible. In order to achieve this we held a design workshop prior to starting work on-site with the Design Team and collaboratively developed a solution.

We carried out surveys and identified plant, equipment and fittings that could be reused. The scheme was designed around the existing and new plant introduced where required. We managed to retain most of the ventilation equipment, radiators, much of the fire alarm and some light fittings.

Working collaboratively from the start we delivered this important project to the required standard and on budget and in line with a tight programme.
